just a bit obsessed.

i hate to admit this... but the bebe has slept like this every night since we have been home. usually starting off on my chest after his feeding marathon and then switched over to the mister's chest later in the night/early morning. i was serious when i said i don't think i ever want to put him down...

one week old.

it has been a little over one week and the love i feel is so overwhelming. i truly never imagined i could feel this way... almost like a love sick school girl. he is a gem, a little love bug.  and i don't think i ever want to put him down.

i am so very happy to announce that john mcintosh bruce arrived tuesday, may 17th at 6.30 pm. he weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and is the cutest little thing i have ever met. will post more about my labor + delivery experience in a few days... but now i am off to find that thing called sleep. xo

as i get closer + closer to having this little boy, i am find myself increasingly anxious to know what he is going to look like. during those times of curiosity i look at this picture of my husband when he was a baby. oh, it just melts my heart... he was the cutest little thing! love him to pieces.

since we are moving back into my little house in a few months, we needed to get rid of our old, very large couch and find something smaller. we originally were not going to purchase anything until we moved... hoping to save ourselves from moving too many things! but i couldn't resist buying this couch when i saw it at the outlet last month. i think we saved over $1300 on a couch that they still sell at the retail stores/online and is in seemingly perfect condition. i am usually not a big outlet fan, but i do LOVE that outlet store. i have definitely scored some good things there in the past!
