i am very pleased to announce that on tuesday june 3rd @ half past six, rubicon estate will open its doors for an intimate reading from the lovely eleanor coppola’s new memoir, notes on a life. in this elegant historic setting, award-winning documentary film maker, artist, wife + mother eleanor coppola will read from + speak about her book as part of the tables in the vineyards lineup of excusive napa valley events. the reading is a joint benefit for both music in the vineyards + the napa valley writers’ conference.
notes on a life takes readers into coppola’s very private life + reveals how she managed to reinforce her famous film-maker husband while holding on to her own innate creativity.
following the reading + casual conversation with anne evans of the napa valley writers’ conference, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the book + have it autographed by coppola. rubicon wine + desserts created by pastry program students at the napa valley cooking school will be served at the event.
